The Hyderabad Runners Society recently hosted a vibrant Women’s Special Run in Hyderabad, bringing together over 250 women in a celebration of fitness, empowerment, and community spirit.
The event was designed to encourage women to embrace healthier lifestyles while fostering confidence, safety awareness, and a sense of unity. Participants from diverse backgrounds turned up with enthusiasm, reflecting the growing interest among women in fitness-focused community initiatives.
The run was graced by Chief Guest Dr. P. Lavanya Naik Jadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Women & Child Safety Wing, Hyderabad City Police. Addressing the participants, she emphasized the importance of women’s safety, empowerment, and staying physically active. Her presence underscored the role of community-led events in building awareness and resilience among women.
